Looking back at my childhood, I realize that my life would be missing something without movies. Watching them was the foundation of what I did, how I felt, and who I was. Other than my time spent studying abroad in Finland, nothing in life quite moved me more than how I reacted to the art of cinematography. I was so curious as to how movies were made, and told myself that I wanted to create visual art that people were moved by as much as I was. Upon starting Tribeca Flashpoint Academy, my actual career in film began. For the first time in my life, I felt that I was at the right place, doing exactly what I have always dreamed of.

It is amazing to me to think that not one film will have the same vibe of which I create with the Director. Emotions flow through each frame to which I can’t speak for, but just react to. I am getting closer daily to achieving my dream of creating a film that people are moved by, but the most exciting feeling in the world is the journey it has taken me to get there. There is so much to learn, and I just can’t get enough of it! Everyone’s perception of the world is different; I want to share mine through the lens of a camera.
